Imaging & Scan Center
This critical area of data capture in clinical trials requires the
greatest need for efficiency and precision. ClinOps has a fully
validated Imaging Center, which incorporates TeleForm™
scanning and data capture software with the ClinPlus™ Data
Management and Reporting system. The Imaging & Scan Center is
a powerful, comprehensive and flexible data management
system expressly designed for managing clinical trial data
using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to capture data via
faxed or paper Case Report Forms (CRFs).
The Imaging & Scan Center uses the most advanced OCR software for
data capture with accuracy rates approaching 100 percent.
With high-capacity databases and hardware systems, the
Imaging & Scan Center has maximum throughput capabilities,
allowing us to process thousands of forms and images easily.
The Imaging & Scan Center provides imaging and archiving services
for storing electronic images of CRFs, Data Correction/
Clarification Forms (DCFs), clinical monitoring reports and medical images. The imaging system creates TIF
files that are automatically filed by investigator, by patient, and/or by page, according to ICH guidelines
for electronic filing as required by the FDA. In addition to archiving the documents, the system allows the
images to be viewed online.
ClinOps offers three primary services with the Imaging & Scan Center:
- Document/image scanning for archiving purposes
- Optical Character Recognition data capture via fax or paper
- Medical imaging for distribution to radiologists and archiving
